Before joining Peoples Company, Mollie managed ornamental gardens open for public use. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University in Horticulture and has worked at public gardens in downtown Chicago and Omaha as well as in northeast Iowa. While her work in ornamental plants may vary from traditional row crop farms, Mollie’s background in plant pathology and entomology has served her well in field scouting and working with farm operators. Mollie has also inherited a strong connection to Iowa’s land after a childhood of following her dad and grandpa around the family farm. She looks forward to using her appreciation for land stewardship and family farm heritage to best serve our clients.

Jay enrolled in Iowa State’s Farm Operations program after high school and then came back to the area to farm and drive truck for Pioneer Hy-Bred. He was part-owner of North Iowa Realty in West Bend until selling to Peoples Company in the Fall of 2013. Growing up on the family farm in southern Warren County, he spent most of his summers fixing and selling Vermeer agriculture equipment. Jared R. Chambers is a licensed real estate agent in Iowa and a professional auctioneer who joined Peoples Company in June of 2014.
Growing up as a young kid in Wayne County, Jared spent most of his time with his father who was in the grading, excavating, and land improvement business serving southern Iowa and northern Missouri. From a young age, he learned the values of hard work, honesty, and customer loyalty. From Jared’s years of owning and operating heavy equipment, he has a distinct eye for how farm ground can be improved.
In 2012, Jared attended the Reppert School of Auctioneering in Indianapolis, Indiana and is very active in the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), Iowa Auctioneers Association (IAA), and the Missouri Professional Auctioneers Association (MPAA). He serves as a State Ambassador for the NAA and is also a graduate of the Professional Ringman’s Institute (PRI). Jared was awarded the 2014 Grand Champion Rookie Bid Caller and also the 2014 Grand Champion Ringman at the IAA annual conference. Through his membership in the NAA, he has obtained his Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) and Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designations.

Jim Curran was raised in the auction business. Starting a career in livestock sales shortly after graduating from high school, he followed in the footsteps of his father, Maurice Curran, who in 1945 built the Russell Sale Barn in Lucas County. Jim, who went on to attend Iowa State University and the Reppert School of Auctioneering, has since spearheaded the public sale of millions of head of cattle across Iowa and Missouri, and was a contender for the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship. He and his brother, Gene, have also handled farm, estate and commercial liquidation auctions throughout Iowa.
Jim managed the Russell Sale Barn for 10 years before retiring from that position, obtaining his real estate license, and going to work in 2007 as an auctioneer selling land for Peoples Company. He continues to handle farm, antique, estate and business liquidation auctions, and since 2007 has sold more than 10,000 acres of farmland and development land throughout Iowa.

Archie Kuntz was born and raised in Poweshiek County his entire life. Archie is married to Sally Kuntz, they have five grown children and one grandson. Archie is a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Brooklyn.
He has worked with production agricultural crops and livestock his entire life. Archie has done custom farming for a number of years in Poweshiek and surrounding counties. Mr. Kuntz has worked with conservation practices with his previous business Kuntz Dirt Moving and Hauling Co. and has planted over 15,000 trees and shrubs.
Archie has been very active with livestock, which included cattle and hog production for over 40 years. Sold hoop barns for livestock production and was top salesperson for Bio-Tech Co in the Nation. He has been involved in several branded specialty meat companies with pork and beef.
He was the treasurer for the North American South Devon Association for several years, spent time as an active member on the Poweshiek County Farm Bureau board, also on the Brooklyn Telecommunications board for nine years and the Board President for three of those years.
Archie has been active in all kinds of motorsports all of his life. He built, owned, and promoted Brooklyn Raceway which held dirt track racing, motorcycle rallies, monster truck shows, rodeos, etc. Archie will now be spending his time with Peoples Company selling farm and recreational property.

In February we purchased a new home in Arizona with a contingency that we sell our West Des Moines home by the end of August. It took us months to get our Iowa home ready to market, then we checked out at least a half dozen flat fee or low fee realtors. We were surprised to find that some don’t actually put the listing on the Multiple (MLS) or Realtor.com, but when we found that Peoples did, we decided to go with them. We chose Kalen as our agent since she lived and worked nearby, and we’ve never regretted that decision. She was thorough, friendly, extremely competent and, thankfully, very accessible. In the past we had experienced realtors who were easy to reach before you signed a listing contract but then hard to get in touch shortly after the ink dried. Oh, did we forget to mention that our house sold within a couple of weeks and we’re now living in a sunny Arizona. Needless to say, we saved many thousands of dollars by listing with Peoples. We never once regretted our decision and we feel so badly for all those who unnecessarily pay the customary 7% commission. Prior to joining Peoples Company in 2014, he was a broker associate and auctioneer with Farmers National Company and established himself as a major producer with real estate sales exceeding $250 million during the prior seven years.
From writing real estate marketing proposals to touring farm ground and calling on behalf of landowners, Jeffrey understands the need to engage with and respond to his clients at each and every turn. In 2011 and 2012, the Realtors Land Institute recognized Jeffrey as the top real estate sales agent in Iowa with regards to volume and number of acres sold.
In 2011 and 2012, The Dirt Dealer’s expertise with Midwest farmland auctions was also highlighted on national and international news programs, including appearances on CNN Money, Rock Center with Brian Williams, Tokyo TV, United Kingdom Channel 4 News and the CBS Evening News.
Jeffrey worked as a loan officer with Farm Credit Services for five years after graduating with a degree in industrial administration from Iowa State University, and earned an auctioneering certificate from Reisch Auction School in 1984. A native of North Central Iowa, he was the youngest of seven children raised on a dairy farm south of Clear Lake.
Jeffrey operates out of his Iowa Falls office and serves the entire states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota. He and his wife, Becky, own and reside on a 240-acre property with a custom farming operation in Eastern Polk County. The couple has two children, five grandchildren and enjoy spending time on their land with their animals: a Great Dane, an Umbrella Cockatoo, three horses, a donkey and a 2,000-lb. pet steer name Chaos.

At an early age, I learned that reaping rewards meant sowing the seeds carefully. His parents raised corn and beans on an Iowa farm, and I was shelling corn and working the fields before he could throw a baseball. These childhood experiences instilled values that I treasure today — responsibility, hard work and unity.
In my career as a real estate professional, I am passionate about seeing others harvest their own dreams. As a third-generation Iowan and land owner, I know a lot about a wide range of properties. From one-acre lots to modern houses in family neighborhoods, I am constantly helping clients, whether they’re buying, selling or searching for an investment.
Dennis has a step-daughter, Michelle, who works on his real estate team and has three grand-sons, one of which is special needs.
Dennis is a life long Missouri Synod Lutheran Church member, and attends King of Kings Lutheran in Cedar Rapids. Dennis is an usher as well as being active in small group sessions. Currently one small group is developing an assisted care project for members who are on long term cancer treatment and other disabilities.
His hobbies include riding and maintaining his Harley motorcycle, going to Iowa football & basketball games with friends, getting out to the farm with his ”grand-kids” and attending many of the school and sporting events.

Rick’s experience includes 11 years as a general real estate appraiser and salesman, and more than 20 years as a county soil conservationist with the United States Department of Agriculture. During and after going through the Business Administration program at the University of Northern Iowa, he worked for a large farming operator and equipment dealer in Northeast Iowa, where he experienced a broad knowledge of the day to day activities in the field. Travis then spent time in the insurance industry specializing in home, auto, commercial, and farm policies. On top of his professional and educational experience, Travis and his family have been actively involved in real estate endeavors including residential, commercial, and development projects. After starting as a Sales Associate in the Fall of 2013, Travis plans to expand the company’s land brokerage, land auction, and farm management services to Northeast Iowa.

Andrew Westlake is the Vice President and Broker of Peoples Company. A native of Bozeman, Montana, he grew up on a farm raising wheat and barley alongside a horse and cattle ranching operation.
Andrew and his family currently reside in Iowa where he attended Iowa State University and spent a number of years as an Information Technology Programmer and Analyst in the banking, financial services and insurance industries before joining Peoples Company in 2008.
Currently licensed as Peoples Company’s broker in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and Montana, Andrew oversees our Brokerage and Property Management divisions. He actively lists and sells land and commercial properties throughout our licensed states and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Iowa Association of Realtors and the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors.

Andrew Zellmer developed a diverse background in agriculture growing up in rural Plymouth County, IA by working for local farmers and being involved with 4-H. After high school, Andrew attended the University of Northern Iowa where he graduated in the spring of 2012 with a double major in Finance and Real Estate. While at UNI, Andrew was actively involved as the President of the UNI Men’s Rugby Club and a contributing member of the Rho Epsilon Real Estate Club.
