Peoples Company, with co-host Total Realty Co., is sponsoring “Big Questions 2016,” an educational and networking event featuring discussion on land values, rental rates, sustainability and more, on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the DeWitt Community Center in DeWitt, Iowa, and on Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Sheraton in West Des Moines.

“Attendees will come away with a fuller, richer understanding of today’s agricultural land market, learning about current and future efforts to sustain and improve Iowa’s environmental landscape,” said Steve Bruere, President of Peoples Company, an Iowa-based provider of land brokerage, land management, land investment and appraisal services to 14 states across the country.

Attendees at each event will hear from the following speakers:

• Roger Wolf, Director of Environmental Programs & Services, Iowa Soybean Association presents Iowa’s Water Future: Will agriculture leverage investment to be more competitive?
• David Muth, Senior Vice President, AgSolver: presents Commodity Prices: In the face of falling commodity prices and potentially record yields, how can we succeed with our land assets?
• Steve Bruere, President, People Company presents Land Values: Where is the land market headed?
• Tyler Krug, Land Manager, Peoples Company presents Conservation & Sustainability: Who pays to implement these practices on my land?
